Pricing FAQ

How much does an electrical service call cost?

Do you have a minimum charge for service calls?

Yes. Eleos Electric has a one-hour minimum for service calls. The first hour is billed at $225. Any additional time beyond the first hour is billed at $195 per hour, prorated every 15 minutes.

How is additional time billed after the first hour?

Why "starting at" pricing?

Every home is different. A switch replacement in a new build is a 15-minute job; the same job in a 1950s bungalow with old wiring can take longer. Our starting rates cover a standard installation — we'll give you a firm, written quote before any additional work begins.

Do you charge a trip fee?

No trip fees for estimates during regular business hours (Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm). The Emergency Service Fee applies to after-hours, weekend, or same-hour emergency dispatch.

Do I need a permit?

Panel replacements, service upgrades, and certain remodels require permits. We pull permits on your behalf — permit fees are passed through at cost.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, and all major credit cards. For larger projects we can discuss milestone-based payment.
